Little Zola was only two months old when she suffered a fracture to her left front leg in an accident. Fortunately, she was discovered by a local resident who brought her to us for treatment. We plastered Zola's leg and treated her for weeks in the intensive care unit. Eventually, we had to amputate her leg.
As a disabled dog, she is worthless in the eyes of most people in Sri Lanka and so she will certainly never be adopted. We are the only hope for dogs like Zola, because she cannot go back to the streets.
We are now urgently looking for animal-loving people to sponsor Zola so that she can stay with us forever.
