Like (too many) of their comrades also Arie and her little sister Edith were simply left in front of our gate....
We took them in and tried to nurse them up , sadly Edith didn't make it.
But her sister Arie has blossomed into a "nice young lady" by now.
Sadly, she was getting "too old" for our ReHome Program and so we had to "buy" her a place in the DCC 50+ Program, the social project to help animals and people.
Now Arie has a "FURever home" and her foster family has an additional income but every 50+ place also means additional running costs for us.
