Banana and Patsy

Name: Banana and Patsy
Breed: Mix
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 1 year and 3 months
Description:

Like so many others, we found Banana as a puppy on the street. Together with her siblings, she wandered the streets helplessly. We nursed her up at the clinic, but unfortunately she never found a family. Female dogs are not very popular in Sri Lanka.... Our Patsy never found a home either, even though she loves people very much. As space on the DCC grounds is limited, we finally placed Banana and Patsy with an elderly, very poor woman through our DCC 50+ program. She lives on a large property together with her adult children and grandchildren. She receives a monthly pension from us for the care of Banana and Patsy.
We check every month that the two dogs are doing well. The DCC 50+ program is a real win-win situation for everyone involved!

Sadly, our sweet Patsy passed away in September 2025.
However, we are very grateful that she was able to enjoy many happy years both at the clinic and with her 50+ family.

We would be delighted if you, as a sponsor of Banana, could help to finance the place so that she can stay in her wonderful home permanently.
