Neutered/Spayed: Yes

DCC dog since: 2 years and 2 months
Description:

A tourist couldn't believe her eyes when she saw four puppies being thrown into a ditch by a passing motorcycle. The puppies were only four weeks old and it was a miracle that they had not suffered any injuries in this cruel act. The distraught woman collected the puppies and brought them to us. The condition of the little ones was heartbreaking. They were malnourished, full of fleas and had skin diseases. Despite all our efforts, two of the four siblings died a few days after being taken in.

One of the surviving puppies is Centa. As a brown female dog, she had little chance of being adopted and so the weeks went by and nobody was interested in her. We urgently needed space for new patients at the clinic, so we placed Centa in our DCC 50+ program. She now lives with an animal-loving but very poor family. We pay a monthly pension for the dog's care. This helps animals AND people!

We visit Centa every month to make sure she is doing well.
Each dog in the DCC 50+ program incurs additional costs of around 80 euros per month.

We are therefore urgently looking for sponsors for dogs like Centa!
