Sick and injured, little Emmy arrived at our clinic as a puppy. She likely had an accident while searching for food, and a kind local person brought her to us for help.
We had to plaster her leg, and it took some time for her to heal. But by the time she was better, she was considered "too old" for adoption. On top of that, the accident left her with a slight walking disability, which made finding her a home even more difficult.
Due to a lack of space at the clinic, we couldn't keep her there, so we placed her in our DCC 50+ program. Here, Emmy has found a loving home with her friend Rabea, and we support her family with a monthly pension to help cover her care.
Now, we are looking for sponsors to support Emmy and ensure she continues to thrive in her new home.
