Flower was chained in the clinic’s waiting area and abandoned by her owners. Confused and frightened, the young female dog did not understand what was happening when she came into our care.
Fortunately, Flower was in a stable physical condition. With the loving attention and compassionate care of our team, the emotional trauma caused by this breach of trust gradually healed as well.
As a brown, middle-aged female dog, Flower sadly has very little chance of being adopted. As the capacity of the Dog Care Clinic is limited, we therefore found her a place with one of our DCC50+ families.
Through the DCC50+ program, elderly and/or disabled local residents in need receive a small monthly pension in exchange for giving one of our rescued dogs a home. Flower now lives in a caring environment and will receive lifelong veterinary care from us – a true win-win situation for everyone involved.
Flower should never have to suffer again.
