Frobo, a male Rottweiler, was surrendered to our clinic by his owner – yet another case in which a pedigree dog was acquired merely as a status symbol, without any consideration for his actual needs.
Upon admission, Frobo presented with an extensive back injury of unknown origin. When the wound began to smell and became increasingly infested with maggots, his owner finally brought him to us. His condition was critical, and for a long time it was uncertain whether he would survive. In addition to the severe wound, we diagnosed heartworm and babesiosis.

Despite everything, Frobo showed remarkable determination to live. The treatments began to take effect, and he soon started to stabilize. With his gentle nature, our impressive good boy quickly won the hearts of everyone – both humans and animals alike.
After his wound had fully healed, we were able to place Frobo in a loving home through our DCC50+ program. Under this program, his new family receives a small monthly pension for adopting him, while we assume all medical expenses for Frobo throughout his lifetime. A solution that benefits both Frobo and his new family.
To continue ensuring Frobo’s comprehensive care, however, we rely on support.
Would you like to become Frobo’s sponsor and help give him a carefree life?
We – and of course Frobo – would be truly grateful.
