Name: Fumble

Gender: Female
Age: ca 2 years and 5 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 2 years and 4 months
Description:

Fumble was a tiny little puppy when she was abandoned along with her siblings. She had a severe worm infestation, countless fleas and skin problems.

We took care of her and her siblings and hoped that she would be adopted. But when she was at the right age for it, she broke her leg. When the fracture healed, Fumble was already "too old" for adoption. No one was interested in her anymore.

At that point, our teen area was completely overcrowded, so we placed Fumble in our DCC 50+ program - the social project for people and animals. Here, older people in need take care of the dogs that no one else wants. We pay a monthly pension for the care of the animals and thus combine animal welfare with humanitarian aid. Fumble now lives in an extended family. The grandmother is widowed and visually impaired, the aunt has no income, the mother takes care of two children and the father works as a courier and is the only one in the family with a fixed income. The pension we pay is an important help for the family not to go hungry.

As a sponsor of Fumble you will not only support this lovely dog, but also her needy family and our DCC 50+ program.
