Stray dog Josi came into our care after an accident. Fortunately, she had only sustained a minor injury to her leg, so after a few weeks of medical treatment, she was able to return to her familiar surroundings.
However, just a few days later, Josi came back to us on her own. She seemed unwell again and had evidently remembered where she could find help. We therefore decided to keep her at the clinic for continued observation.
In the meantime, Josi has made a full recovery and has found a new home through our DCC50+ program. This initiative places dogs with elderly people in need within the local community who provide them with a loving home. In return, the DCC50+ partner families receive a monthly pension from us – and in particularly difficult cases, additional financial support is provided.
Of course, we conduct regular, unannounced visits to ensure that our dogs are doing well in their new homes. In addition, all DCC50+ dogs receive lifelong veterinary care free of charge, as well as ongoing support with food.

We are now looking for sponsors for Josi who can help ensure she enjoys a dignified life with her new family.
