Mata und Matu were brought to us by an English couple
during their vacation. They found the two dogs on the
garbage dump in Mirissa.
Like too often the two "holiday darlings" were soon
forgotten by the tourist couple after returning home.
Nevertheless, we continued our care for Matu and Mata
but now we also have two finance their places in our
DCC 50+ program.
Our social project for animals and people guarantees a safe home
for the dogs and an (additional) income for the foster family.
Every dog in the DCC 50+ means additonal costs for us.
