On one of our feeding tours, we came across Mavis and his siblings – abandoned in a cardboard box.
The tiny puppies had been taken from their mother far too early and were in a worrying condition: tiny, malnourished, and infested with parasites. Our feeding team took them in and immediately brought them to the clinic, where we began treatment without delay.
We lovingly nursed Mavis back to health and for a long time hoped that he would find a home of his own. Sadly, no one showed any interest in the handsome young dog.
As his chances of adoption grew smaller and our capacities on-site are limited, we decided to include Mavis in our DCC50+ program. He now lives with elderly locals in need, whom we support with a monthly pension. At the same time, we cover all veterinary expenses for Mavis – for his entire lifetime.
To ensure Mavis can enjoy a carefree life, we rely on sponsors who are willing to accompany and support him.
