Mickie & Kinga

Name: Mickie & Kinga
Breed: Mix
Age: ca 9 years and 8 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 9 years and 5 months
Description:

Mickie and Kinga have much in common:
They arrived almost the same day when they were only pups, laced with parasites, haggard and without a chance to survive on the streets of Sri Lanka.

We nursed them up and both grew to become healthy teens.
But for the standards of Sri Lanka even a teen is already too old, so they never found a ReHome family
Mickie and Kinga became yet another two dogs nobody wants (anymore).

Because of the permanent lack of space we had to "buy" Mickie and Kinga in our DCC 50+ Project, the social program for people and animals.

Both have a safe home now and their foster dad an (additional) income, but for us every DCC 50+ place means additional monthly expenses.

Update May 2021: Mickie had an accident and sadly died despite all our efforts.

Kinga is still with her family.
