Okara and Starlight share one common fate...
...brought by their owners for neutering in a pitiful condition and "forgotten" after we nursed them up.
For former owner dogs, there's no way to integrate them into one of our external packs, so Okara and Starlight...
...had to get a place in <link _blank internal-link about the dcc>our DCC 50+ Program, the social project to help animals and people.
Okara and Starlight have found a safe home and their foster family a safe (additional) income.
Sadly, Okara passed in February 2021 unexpected. We still continue our care for Starlight.
