Oriana was six months old when she was abandoned together with a puppy in front of our clinic. It is quite possible that she had an owner who lost interest in her and simply dumped her. Despite overcrowding, we took the two young dogs in and looked after them. As a female brown dog, Oriana had little chance of being placed. In addition, most people do not adopt dogs older than three or four months.
However, due to the lack of space, Oriana could not stay at the clinic and so we finally placed her in our DCC 50+ program. She now lives with a local family. The family is very fond of animals and very poor. They receive a monthly pension for the care of Oriana. This helps both people and animals!
We check every month that Oriana is doing well and guarantee her lifelong free medical care.
