Pretty

Name: Pretty
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 1 year and 9 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 1 year and 6 months
Description:

When Pretty suddenly turned up in the garden of a Sinhalese woman, she was only 8 months old. She was very attached to people and so we assume that she was simply abandoned by her owner. In search of shelter, food and affection, she ended up on the resident's property. The lady brought Pretty to us. Pretty's overall condition was not too bad, but she had several eczemas that we had to treat.

Due to her age, she was no longer suitable for rehoming once her treatment was complete. The people here are only interested in puppies.

However, as the space on our clinic grounds is limited and we urgently needed it for sick and injured animals, we finally placed Pretty in our DCC 50+ program. Here she now lives with a poor, loving family who look after her. In return, the family receives a monthly pension from us. This is how we make the local communities active parts in animal welfare. Like all our dogs in the DCC 50+ program, we visit Pretty every month to make sure she is doing well.

As a sponsor of Pretty, you not only support this beautiful dog, but also her family in need.
