We found Vivian and Nila together with their siblings (we namend them Brooke and Chloe) on the road close to the Mihiripenna temple. They were less than three months old when somebody dumped them - most likely, because they are brown and female.
We took in the small family, nursed them back to health and vaccinated them. When they were eight months all, we castrated them, too. Since neither Vivian nor Nila were adopted through our Rehome-program we decided to give them to a needy family.

With the DCC 50+ program we support people and animals. Poor elders take in dogs from us and receive a monthly pension in return. We continue the free medical care for these dogs and visit them monthly.
Vivian and Nila have had found a loving home.
Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Vivian. After a long life with her 50+ family, she has passed away.
