Wilson

Name: Wilson
Breed: Mix
Gender: Male
Age: ca 8 years and 11 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 8 months
Description:

Wilson was picked up near the Dog Care Clinic. Whether he once had a home and was heartlessly abandoned there, or had already been living on the streets for a long time, we did not know.

Wilson was far too thin and was also suffering from a severe ear infection and filariosis, which requires lifelong treatment. Returning him to the streets was not an option due to his health condition. However, he could not stay with us either, as the clinic was already full to capacity. Therefore, we enrolled Wilson in our DCC50+ program.
Wilson now lives with seniors in need who receive a small monthly pension from us in exchange for adopting him. This support helps them care for themselves and for Wilson. We visit Wilson regularly to check on his condition. In addition, we cover the costs of Wilson’s veterinary care for the rest of his life.

To ensure that Wilson can permanently live a life of safety and care in his DCC50+ home, we rely on support in the form of sponsorships.
