It was quite a surprise when we discovered that our goat Flocke was pregnant. All our billy goats had already been castrated at the time. However, it must have been Günni who produced offspring just before castration.
Basti was born in June and mother Flocke is taking great care of him.
Actually, every new life is a reason for joy, but of course we also worry about the financing. We now have another billy goat to look after for the rest of his life.
