Cinnamon was already an old dog when he was discovered on the street in a miserable condition. We were wondering what he had already been through in his long life? How many people had carelessly walked past him in the past ten years? The dog's condition was absolutely alarming and the list of his illnesses was long: Babesiosis positive, fungal dermatitis, TVT, an untreated old fracture, poor kidney values, high inflammation values, etc.
Others would probably have given up on him already, but we believe that every dog deserves dignified sunset years. So we treated his illnesses and made sure that he would do well with us. He never became completely healthy again, but he experienced happiness and care with us.
Cinnamon crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the end of February 2026 at the proud age of 13 due to a bladder tumor. We are deeply saddened by his loss, but at the same time grateful that he was able to spend his final years with us in dignity.
