Dustin was already eight years old when he was discovered by a Sinhalese man. He must have been through a great deal. Examinations at the clinic revealed an old, untreated hip fracture. In addition, he showed signs of paralysis in his hind legs, and his legs were severely injured. Dustin had to stay with us for the rest of his life, as he would have had no chance of surviving on the streets.
Sadly, in January 2026, Dustin succumbed to severe liver and kidney failure, and we had to say goodbye to him with heavy hearts.
