Cute little Flary was brought to us by a Sinhalese man from Galle. She was covered in parasites and full of worms.
After we had nursed her up she never found a <link 26#360 - internal-link "Opens internal link in current window">Rehome</link> place and so we decided to give her to a neighbouring temple. We supported the monk with dry food, rice and chicken meat for the dogs living in the temple compound,
But the monk started raising (monetary) claims increasing over time. So, eventually, we were forced to take the dogs back in January 2017. Luckily, we were able to find Flary a loving home through our DCC 50+ program, the social project to help people and animals.
Flary spent many happy years under our care and we were shocked when she suddenly died in February 2022. It was probably due to a heart attack, Rest in peace, Flary!
