The poor male dog Lulu was brought to the clinic by two local residents after he had suffered an accident the previous day.
His left thigh was so severely damaged that there was no possibility of saving it – amputation was the only option. However, Lulu was initially in an extremely critical condition, making an immediate procedure impossible. Only after he had been stabilised was our team able to perform the life-saving surgery.
Lulu had since recovered well from the severe strain and had been integrated into one of our packs. As a dog with a disability, he unfortunately had no realistic chance of being adopted here, which is why he remained with us permanently. He felt very comfortable with us and enjoyed living a safe and sheltered life as a DCC dog.
