Malcom was previously in another clinic, where a leg was amputated and his extensive wound on the hip was treated. But the wound did not get smaller even after weeks and so we were asked for help. We took Malcom in and were able to ensure that the wound healed bit by bit through daily wound care. When we contacted the other clinic to have them pick up Malcom, no one there could remember the dog....
Malcom does not have complete control over his remaining hind leg and therefore can only walk a few steps. Most of the time he slides across the floor. We have therefore taken him in one of the DCC buildings where the floor is polished and Malcom does not hurt himself. Several times a day we let him out on the grass.
Malcom spent happy years at the DCC, but unfortunately passed away far too early in February 2025 after a severe viral infection.
