Nolee was brought to us after an accident which left her badly injured. The paw of her hind leg was completely smashed and her leg had to be amputated in an immediate emergency surgery.
Sadly, disabled dogs were not very popular in Sri Lanka, and so Nolee’s owners somehow “forgot” their loyal friend. Even though we did not charge a single rupee for the surgery, the owners never came to pick Nolee up. Thus, she became one more dog nobody wanted anymore and lived on the clinic compound.
Despite her fate, she was a cheerful and very loving dog. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Nolee in December 2025 due to kidney failure. But we are grateful that we were able to spend so many years with her.
