When Simba - as we named him - became "old and useless" his owner simply disposed him off. He shoved Simba through our gate and vanished immediately - another way to give a "Thank you" to a loyal friend...
Simba had a wound on his backhead and his right hindpaw is missing. Of course we kept Simba in the DCC, nursed him back to health and got him a place in our DCC 50+ Program, the social project to help animals and people...
After many happy years, Simba died at the age of 15 in March 2021.
