Heartlessly, Tatyana and her two siblings were found as puppies in the bushes outside the clinic. We found the poor three little ones completely scared and drenched from the rain. They were full of fleas and ticks.
We took them in. Two days later, one of the puppies passed away. He was already too weak. Fortunately, Tatyana and her sister Tanisha survived and thrived.
At the age of four months, both were able to be adopted, which made us very happy. However, Tatyana's happiness didn't last long. After two months, she was returned. Her owner no longer wanted her. So, we took poor Tatyana back in. At six months old, she was considered too old for adoption in the eyes of the Sri Lankans. Tatyana remained as a resident with us.
But in April 2024, Tatyana finally found her family. One of our employees adopted her! We thought she would spend many happy years with him but fate had different plans. In October, Tatyana got really sick with babesiosis and an additional kidney failure was too much for her. We couldn't save her.
Run free Tatyana.
