Winston

During our tour we found a helpless paralysed dog sitting in front of a gate on the road. Since the little one was still in a rather good condition we asked the owners of the house, whether they knew anything about the dog.

In fact, the dog belonged to them but "there was no use for a disabled dog" and "he should be euthanised anyway". Of course we didn't leave the young dog to his fate but brought him to the clinic and gave him a name. 

We gave Winston not only a chance, but a second life. We tried to give him back as much mobility and sensation in his legs as possible by providing daily massages, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. A Rehome place for a disabled dog like Winston is out of question and thus wanted to keep him as one of our residents on the clinic compound.

But the negligence of his owners took its toll and Winston left us much too early... Run fre Lil'Guy - we'll never forget you !
