Serena was reported by a local family, that had pitty on her. Via our <link _blank internal-link about our daily>Daily Tours we headed to the rescue immediately and had to see a picture of true horror...
...ropes, belts and wires cut down to the wind pipe of the young dog - only the immediate treatment at the DCC saved her life.
By our tender loving care Serena's wounds healed rather fast and she learned to gain trust to people again. But in May 2017 the devasting diagnosis - a virus infection threatens her eye sight...
With a cornea scrape we tried to preserve as much of Serena's vision as possible, she rode the surgery well and we had good faith, that she would have a long and active life with us.
But her past took its toll in the end and she left us much too early...
