Bodo wurde von unserem Catching-Team in die Klinik gebracht, nachdem er durch auffällige Hautveränderungen aufgefallen war. Dort bestätigte sich die Diagnose: Demodikose – eine durch Milben verursachte Hauterkrankung, die starken Juckreiz sowie Fellverlust verursacht.
Bodo was brought to our clinic by our catching team after he was noticed showing abnormal skin changes. There, the diagnosis was confirmed: demodicosis – a mite-induced skin disease that causes severe itching and hair loss.
He received appropriate treatment, was neutered, and subsequently released back into his original territory. However, a few weeks later, Bodo appeared again at our door. Apparently, he had decided that the DCC would be his home and found his way back to us entirely on his own.
We took him in once more and integrated him into one of our packs – which went completely smoothly thanks to his calm and friendly nature.
Bodo is clearly comfortable with us and would like to stay at the DCC permanently. However, to ensure his ongoing care, medical treatment, and food supply, we rely on support.
