Another two puppies dumped on the clinic street, both of them around two months old, female and malnourished. Despite a full puppy ward we took them in.
In a godmother auction the sisters got their names - Inge and Berta - by the animal friend Alexandra Tobler who has been supporting our work for many years. The names were chosen to honor a member of the DCC team whose name is quite similar.
Both sisters developed nicely under our care and Inge was happy to find a loving home through our Rehome project - sadly in August 2017 Inge became the victim of a reckless TukTuk driver.
Berta never found a ReHome family and so she got a place in our DCC 50+ Program, hoping for many kind sponsors willing to give her and her foster family a safe future.
