Kashmir has a troubled and sad history. She was abandoned by her owner at a temple because she was sick and no longer useful for breeding.
We discovered Kashmir and immediately took her into our care. When we found her, she was severely malnourished and suffering from Babesiosis as well as a severe fungal infection. It was a long and challenging journey, but with a lot of love and care, Kashmir was able to regain her strength over the course of several weeks.
The happiness was complete when Kashmir was finally adopted by our staff member Kumudu. In her new home, she now finds the love and security she so desperately needed. However, to ensure that Kashmir continues to receive the best possible care, she is now looking for sponsors who would like to support her on her journey. Of course, we will continue to care for her!
