Lia

Many of the dogs that come to us are brought by tourists. This was also the case with Lia. The tourist discovered the young female dog on the main road and brought her to us. During the initial examination, it became clear that Lia was suffering from babesiosis. The tourist donated a small amount and then never got back in touch. Once again, we were left alone to cover the high costs of a lengthy treatment and care.

We found out that Lia had actually been living at a beach hotel, but no one there seemed to care about her anymore either. And so, Lia stayed with us at the clinic.

Now it’s up to us to give her a future. We are urgently looking for people to support Lia on her journey and show her that she is not alone. We promise to take care of her for the rest of her life.
