Melissa 2

Name: Melissa 2
Breed: Rottweiler
Gender: Female
Age: ca 5 years and 7 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 6 months
Description:

Melissa was abandoned in the immediate vicinity of our clinic – sick, weak, and showing clear signs of neglect. She had most likely become a burden to her owner and was simply left to fend for herself.

We took Melissa in and provided her with the urgent care she so desperately needed. Her sore and injured paws were treated, and with good food and plenty of care, she slowly regained her strength. Despite everything she has been through, Melissa has not lost her trust in humans. She is a friendly, loving, and very affectionate dog who enjoys being around humans.

Sadly, Melissa was diagnosed with babesiosis – a serious tick-borne disease that requires lifelong medical care and monitoring. For this reason, this beautiful Rottweiler lady will remain with us permanently. Here, we can closely monitor her health and provide her with the care and attention she so deserves.

Melissa has finally found a safe and loving home with us, where she is cared for with love and compassion and can stay for the rest of her life.
