One day, our team received a report about a dog that had fallen into a stream. Fortunately, by the time we arrived, he had already been brought to safety. However, during the examination at the clinic, it quickly became clear that the poor dog – whom we named Oscar – had only about 20% of his vision remaining.
Oscar, a German Shepherd, had apparently become unwanted because of his near-total blindness and was abandoned. This fate nearly cost him his life.
Today, Oscar no longer has to fear the dangers of life on the streets. With us, he has found a loving forever home where he will be cared for and protected for the rest of his life.
