When Ruby came to us, she was weak, in pain from severely inflamed and infected ears, and suffering from a fungal infection. We don’t know how long she had to endure this agony — only that her pain had been overlooked, her suffering ignored.
The “finder” claimed to have discovered her on the street — but many parts of the story seemed questionable to us. Whatever really happened, only one thing mattered to us: Ruby’s recovery.
Thanks to weeks of intensive medical care, patience, and a great deal of love, she is now healthy again. She now lives a safe, cared-for life on our clinic grounds, where she finally receives everything she had to go without for so long: attention and affection.
Ruby is a reminder of how much we can achieve together.
