We found Zakiya together with her sister Zendaya – in a cardboard box, carelessly left in front of our clinic.
The two were only two months old, far too young to survive on their own, and had simply been abandoned by heartless people. It is likely they were the only females of the litter and were therefore discarded. Both also suffered from parasites, worms, and skin problems.

Without hesitation, we took the little ones in, began treatment, and gave them protection, warmth, and care.
Today, Zakiya has grown into a beautiful, happy dog. She has found a loving home here in Sri Lanka through our ReHome program, where she enjoys safety and affection. We visit her regularly to make sure she is doing well in every way.
Zakiya will receive free veterinary care from us for her entire life – including regular deworming, vaccinations, and, if necessary, treatments or surgeries.
To be able to give her this lifelong security, we rely on sponsorships.
Would you like to stand by Zakiya’s side as her sponsor and help her live a healthy life?
Zakiya would be truly grateful for your support.
