Zara was just a little puppy when she suffered a tragic accident. A kind-hearted local person found her in pain and reported her to DCC, where our team quickly took action. At the clinic, examinations revealed a serious injury: Zara had fractured her pelvis bone.
She needed immediate treatment and care, and so she stayed at DCC, where we ensured she received the best possible care. After weeks of recovery, Zara’s injury healed, and she regained her strength. But sadly, despite her brave journey, no one came forward to adopt her. Zara’s only "fault" is that she is a brown dog and a female—traits that sadly make her less desirable in the eyes of many.
Yet, Zara is a wonderful dog, full of love and curiosity. She has an incredible, friendly nature and a gentle, trusting heart.
Zara has been with us at the DCC for some time but her journey is far from over!
Recently, a wonderful home has finally been found for Zara: she is being well cared for and loved together with her friend Lilly! We visit them regularly to make sure they are both doing well and continue to look after them! Our rehomed dogs always remain DCC dogs, with lifelong support!
