On Friday, October 21, 2022, Marina Möbius was ceremoniously presented with the medal of the Federal Republic of Germany by the mayor of the municipality of Tuningen, Mr. Pahlow, and the district administrator of the Black Forest-Baar district, Mr. Hinterseh. With this award, the state recognizes Marina Möbius' many years of unparalleled voluntary commitment. Her merits as the founder and first chairwoman of the Dog Care Clinic e.V., which permanently improves the situation of animals and people in Sri Lanka, were particularly honoured. The Medal of Merit is the highest recognition the Federal Republic of Germany awards for services to the common good.
