Poor Brown had to endure much pain in her young age. It took her owner two weeks to bring the puppy to our clinic after an accident which injured her ellbow badly.
There was no possibility of the wound healing and so an amputation was unavoidable. But first we had to stabilize her, nurse her up and wait for her to be strong enough for such a big surgery. It took two months before we could perform the surgery and during this time her owner apparently "forgot" he ever owned a dog.
She was not picked up after the amputation and is therefore yet another dog nobody (wants) anymore. Brown, female and with three legs only she hardly has any chance of adoption through our rehome program and thus was bought a place in our effective but costly DCC 50+ program.
We are therefore urgently hoping for donations or sponsorships to ensure Brown Tripod a life without pain and sorrows.
