Daisy had a stroke of bad luck: As a puppy , she was hit by a car and suffered a severe injury to her front leg.
Fortunately, compassionate locals found her just in time and brought her to the Dog Care Clinic, where we immediately did everything we could to help her.

For a long time, it was uncertain whether her leg could be saved. But with a great deal of patience, dedication, and daily intensive care, we succeeded: Daisy was able to keep her leg!
However, the effects of the accident still remain. The severe trauma caused permanent damage to her front leg, and her gait has been visibly impaired ever since.
For many people in her home country of Sri Lanka, this means she is considered "no longer worth living." Dogs with disabilities are often ignored at best – there is almost no chance for adoption.
That’s why Daisy now lives permanently on the grounds of the Dog Care Clinic – in a large pack where she is fully accepted and loved just the way she is.
To her canine friends, it doesn’t matter how she walks or looks – all that matters is that she’s there.
To ensure Daisy continues to receive the care she needs, we are looking for kind-hearted sponsors to accompany her on her journey.
Every bit helps to secure Daisy’s medical care, food, and her loving home at the DCC.
