Nessy was hit by a reckless driver and left injured – a fate shared by countless street dogs. However, while most of them never receive help, Nessy was lucky. A passerby informed us about the dog, and we immediately rushed to rescue her.
Ultrasound examinations at the clinic showed that Nessy had no internal injuries, but her leg was so severely damaged that we had to amputate it.
As a disabled dog, Nessy obviously couldn’t return to the street, so she is now one of our residents on the clinic grounds.
Nessy has her whole life ahead of her and is hoping to find kind sponsors!
