Neyla was rescued from a Sri Lankan animal clinic by Marina Möbius.
She had had an accident with pelvic fracture and was simply placed in a box, in which she had spent 2 months without being able to move. So her bones and joints became totally stiff and disfigured.
One of the cases most would think of as "hopeless" one...
But through persistent physical therapy, we saw great results after the first month and were in good hope to get the same longterm success as with <link record:tx_kbdogsponsor:tx_kbdogsponsor_domain_model_dog:373>Bella</link>.
And YES: after months of hard training Neyla became able to walk only with her front legs.
Update 02/24: After many happy years at DCC, Neyla sadly left us. Thanks to our care and protection she reached a proud age of 14 years - for a dog with her hsitory this is truly remarkable. Our hearts are filled with sadness but we know she is at a good place now. Run free, Neyla. We will never forget you!!
