This is an unbelievable story of a brave mother.
This is a stray dog who had given birth to six puppies. One day, a huge monitor lizard attacked the family and killed one of the puppies. The mother was trying to protect her little ones with everything she had. She managed to chase off the lizard but suffered bad injuries to her face. The poor mother ended up loosing not only a puppy but also one eye.
We were informed about this incident by kind locals who were looking out for the stray dog and feeding her regularly. We picked up the whole family and the mother went through emergency surgery straight after admission. She was recovering with her puppies in our ICU. She went through a lot of stress and she didn’t seem to have a lot of milk left, so we were helping her out and were feeding her pups every 2 hours. We named the mom Remy.
Our clinic is literally filled with puppies in every kennel, welcoming the entire family has been challenging as we are running out of space and resources.
Please consider a sponsorship and accompany Remy and her puppies throughout their lives!
