Rabea

Name: Rabea
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 3 years and 9 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog since: 3 years and 8 months
Description:

In May 2022, we took in four puppies in heartbreaking condition. They were suffering from severe mange, had pus-filled wounds, and were in generally very poor health.

We feared for their lives, and unfortunately, only one puppy from the litter survived: Rabea. Her recovery took many weeks, and by the time she was finally healthy, she was considered “too old” for adoption, as most people here are only interested in puppies aged three to four months. Rabea was never adopted and lived on the DCC grounds.

However, due to limited space and the constant need to take in new patients, we eventually placed Rabea, along with Emmy, in our DCC50+ program. She now lives with a loving family. Since the family is very poor, we support them with a monthly pension. We visit Rabea regularly (without prior notice!) to ensure she is doing well.

As a sponsor, you not only support Rabea, but also her needy family!
