Turbo
Name: | Turbo |
Breed: | Mix |
Gender: | Male |
Age: | ca 2 years |
Neutered/Spayed: | Yes |
Vaccinated: | Yes |
DCC dog since: | 1 year and 10 months |
We discovered Turbo and his siblings by the roadside at the end of April 2023, covered in parasites. Unwanted puppies, thrown away like garbage. We lovingly cared for and nursed the puppies until Turbo was adopted in August. The joy was great!
In mid-September we picked Turbo up for neutering and everything seemed fine with the family. But the owners lost interest in Turbo and left the dog to his own devices afterwards. Unfortunately, this is often the case when a cuddly puppy has become an adult dog. Suddenly they are as unwanted as an old broken piece of furniture and that's exactly how Turbo was returned to us. But dogs are not returnable goods!
Turbo was completely terrified and hardly let us touch him. He must have experienced terrible things. In small steps we were able to regain Turbo's trust.
Due to a lack of space, we were unable to keep him at the clinic and placed him in our DCC 50+ program. Here, families in need close to the clinic adopt one or two of our dogs. The family receives a monthly pension from us for the care of the animals. This provides for both people and animals - a real win-win situation. We visit Turbo every month to make sure he is doing well.
In order to finance the check-up visits and monthly pension for the family in need, we are urgently looking for sponsors for our dear Turbo.
