Anu and her sisters were "discarded" in front of our gate when they were only pups.
Though Anu blossomed into a mighty nice dog she never found a new home....
Anu had the "wrong color". Brown dogs are viewed as "garbage" by many people in Sri Lanka. Additionally, bitches are much less popular than male dogs. So we gave her a place in one of the external DCC Packs where she lived many happy years until her sudden death due to kidney failure.
We will never forget you, Anu!
