Elisa was brought to us after an accident in which her paw was smashed. She was unable to stand up, was whining and sleeping all the day. Her life was hanging by a thread and neurological problems couldn't be ruled out.
We kept Elisa under close observation in the intensive care unit for a long time and were delighted as she began to gain weight steadily. Fortunately, her condition stabilized, and her wound also started to heal. However, we knew she would remain disabled for the rest of her life. Because of her disability, Elisa lived her entire life as a resident on our clinic grounds.
Sadly, at the end of March 2026, we had to let Elisa go due to acute kidney failure. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by the caregivers who loved her most.
Cross the rainbow bridge safely, Elisa. We already miss you so much, sweet girl.
