Ivy

Name: Ivy
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Age: ca 10 years and 3 months
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
DCC dog for: 10 years and 1 month
Description:

Ivy was brought to us by an animal loving tourist who also became her first sponsor. Ivy had a wound on her neck - only a minor wound but infected already.

Without proper medical attention Ivy would have died of that infection...

We nursed her up and found a nice ReHome Place for Ivy.
But only a short time later the monk wanted to bater Ivy for another dog because she did not bark (=> didn't work as cheap alarm system).
Of course our dogs are not goods to bater, so we didn't give another dog to the temple.
Now Ivy became "too old" for a new ReHome slow by slow and thus another Resident of ours, another dog nobody wants....
...so we had to give her a place in the DCC 50+ Project, the social program to help people and animals.

She spent a happy time with her foster family, but on one of her excursions she went on the nearby tracks and got hit by a train... Run free Ivy - the memory remains.
