Robyn

Name: Robyn
Breed: Mix
Gender: Female
Neutered/Spayed: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes
Description:

Robyn had a very sad fate.
Like (too) many of her 4-legged comrades she was abandoned when she was only a puppy and she was lucky, that we found her on time.

We nursed Robyn up, vaccinated her and when she was old enough we were happy for her to get a ReHome Place. But her ReHome Dad thought of Robyn as as "returnable goods". When he didn't want Robyn anymore he simply left her behind at the DCC... For the sake of Robyn we did not return her to this "foster family".

Robyn was "too old" for a new ReHome by now and our clinic is (permanently) overcrowded. So we conveyed her to our DCC 50+ Program, the social project to help people and animals.

Now, Robyn has a home and her foster mom an (additional) income - but for us this also means additional expenses.

In December 2018, Robyn was admitted to the clinic by her worried DCC 50+ mom. Robyn was vomiting constantly and had blood in her stool. Despite all our efforts, she passed the following day.

RIP Robyn, we will never forget you!
