Rosmead was severely disabled. Her hind legs were paralised. Initially, she was treated by animal welfare organization Embark but after small improvements at the beginning her condition seemed to be stagnant.
Since Otara, the founder of Embark, knows very well - from several visits at our clinic - that we meet each dog's needs individually and provide best care, she eventually decided to transfer Rosmead to the DCC.
Eventhough the disability of the trusting dog was severe she was no hopeless case! With the combination of several therapies and their consequent conduction Rosmead could put a little bit of weight on her hind legs again. The treatments did not only strengthen muscles but also increased the metabolism.
Sadly, Rosmead's condition detoriated in 2020 and we had to let her go in February.
